Tamaulipas badminton players, with ticket to Nacional

The Tamaulipas Badminton delegation that attended the National Qualifier in Aguascalientes

An outstanding performance was that of the Tamaulipas Badminton team that participated in the National qualifying phase to be held in Aguascalientes, obtaining their ticket to the CONADE 2023 National Games that will be in Cuernavaca, Morelos on a date to be defined.

The head coach Jesús Gallardo was very happy when he returned after the good performance that the youngsters had in this tie, which it was possible to attend thanks to the support provided by the Instituto Tamaulipeco del Deporte, so now they will continue preparing with a view to the National phase.

There were 19 athletes from Tamaulipas and three coaches and two judges the coaches who participated in the qualifier that brought together competitors from 30 states of the Mexican Republic with the same objective of achieving a pass to the National Games.

The categories in which they participated were Sub 15, Sub 17 and Sub 19.

Alondra Hernández and Heivy Palomo qualify in the mixed doubles modality under 19 category, Victor Hugo Arratia Ortega and Heivy Palomo, in doubles, San Juanita Espinoza Luna and Joely Paola Bueno Ortega in women’s doubles.
In the Sub 17, Ximena Pérez Villarreal and Marcela Judith Bueno Ortega qualify in the women’s doubles sub 17 category.
While in the Sub 15, Sofía Becerra and Yerai Becerra, classified in singles and mixed doubles, Eliezer Martínez. qualifies in the singles modality and Jaccibe Michelle López in the mixed doubles category.

The certified Badminton Judges of Tamaulipas, who were summoned for the national qualifier are: Ramiro Azael Lara Rodríguez and Melissa Samai Bueno Ortega who belong to the Tamaulipas Badminton Association.

As coaches, Jesús A. Gallardo Soto, Víctor Andrei García Vega and José Ángel Gallardo Rendón attended.
