Sports channel ESPN has offered 1.7 billion euros for the live television rights of the Ere and Eerste Divisie, Chris Woerts reports in Inside today. From mid-2025, the professional clubs should be allowed to divide an average of 167 million euros annually for ten years.

In addition, the clubs will also have access to foreign rights again and the summaries of professional football can also be sold independently from 2025. The expectations are that the clubs can distribute another 35 million euros per year.

Feyenoord received an amount of 7.7 million euros from TV money in the 2021/22 season. The amount can rise to 20 million euros from mid-2025. The TV money is distributed based on the number of points achieved in previous seasons. If the Rotterdammers continue to perform well, the total amount can increase.
