Spezia-Inter 2-1, Nzola-Maldini bend the Nerazzurri. Lukaku’s penalty goal is not enough (after Lautaro’s mistake)

It is the evening in which the world turns upside down and Inter fell at the peak against Spezia, capable of triumphing at home after six long, very long months. It all happens in the recovery: marks Maldini (for his dynasty it is a derby par excellence), Lukaku equalises on a penalty 8′ from the end, but 120 seconds later Nzola transforms from 11 meters and gives a very important victory to Leonardo Semplici’s team. For Simone Inzaghiwho can’t heal the travel sickness, it is the eighth knockout in 26 championship games and continues this up-and-down season that puts him in question, seriously now, for next season. The trip to Portugal will be decisiveagainst Porto in the Champions League on Tuesday. Inter didn’t save money because in almost 100′ they shot 26 times, without ever finding the way to goal except precisely with Lukaku from a penalty.

The nerazzurri, who opt for the turnover (Handanovic and D’Ambrosio in the title, while Onana and Calhanoglu sit on the bench), they start strong with two shots in five minutes from Lautaro Martinez, which doesn’t worry Dragowski. The match could change when Caldara knocks down D’Ambrosio in the area: initially the referee Marinelli lets it go, but the Var intervenes. Three long minutes of check, then the match director is called to the monitor and turns around. From the diskette it shows up lautaro martinez (when the Argentine takes the ball, Luke he turns perplexed towards the bench), but Dragowski respinge with a big parade. Spezia revives with Agudelo’s crossbar, but the Polish goalkeeper still has to save on Lautaro Martinez. Bravo then to score after just 40 seconds at the start of the second half, but Lukaku is offside and the goal is disallowed. Spezia trudges, but suddenly everything changes, demonstrating how ruthless football is. Launch of Dragowski, Nzola starts on the counterattack, wins with Acerbi, serves Maldini (replaced Shomurodov at the start of the second half), who flat beats Handanovic. Then two penalties: one on each side. Lukaku draws, Nzola doubles. Inter falls and now it’s tough for Inzaghi.
