A penalty from Berardi gives Sassuolo their fourth win in a row which is worth an excellent position in the standings. In fact, at least for the moment, Dionisi’s neroverdi are hooking Bologna in ninth place. Three important points and all in all deserved if only for the many chances created by the Emilians, a crossbar from Berardi himself and some decisive interventions from Dragowski.

And it was Dionisi’s team that repeatedly touched the net before the break. In the 34th minute, Laurienté serves Berardi who loads with his left foot from outside the box and sends the ball to hit the crossbar. Another opportunity to break the balance: it’s the 45th minute when Thorvestd puts in the middle from the right, a close header from Henrique, face to face with the Sassuolo player, a miraculous detour from Dragowski. The start of the second half was still characterized by Sassuolo’s attempt to take the lead. Ready to go, Dragowski still decisive on Rogerio’s conclusion.
