Stojilkovic scores twice – Darmstadt defends first place
Darmstadt 98 regained the lead in the second division after just one night from 1. FC Heidenheim. The South Hesse team beat Kaiserslautern like a top team.

Tietz almost made it 3-0 immediately after the change. Nevertheless, the hosts no longer had to fear for victory against harmless Lauterer. Fabio Torsiello hit the post for the lilies in stoppage time.
“We can be satisfied. Mentally, it was a great response to the last two games,” said Darmstadt coach Torsten Lieberknecht: “We pressed very well, pushed forward and didn’t fall back in the last few minutes, but went up front.”
Darmstadt now four points ahead of HSV
The Südhessen are now two points ahead of 1. FC Heidenheim and three ahead of Hamburger SV. The Heidenheimer had presented on Friday with a 5: 2 after a 0: 2 deficit in the Baden-Württemberg duel with the Karlsruher SC. HSV, on the other hand, blundered on the 25th matchday.
Without his suspended coach Tim Walter, Hamburg remained without a win in the second game in a row and therefore have to worry about direct promotion again. Despite a long superiority in the north duel against Holstein Kiel, the Hanseatic League did not get past a 0-0 lead. According to the current status, the old master would have to go back to the promotion relegation like last year.
