Second departmental day of judo

On Saturday March 18 and Sunday March 19, the judo committee entrusted the local club with hosting the second departmental days, four intense half-days which, for the Florac-Trois-Rivières team, began on Friday, with recovery tatami mats in Montrodat and ended Monday, March 20 in the morning, with the return of the latter. Over these four half-days, several age groups were welcomed with various activities, ie nearly 250 fighters.

Saturday morning, among the youngest, born from 2017 to 2019, with four workshops to go through lasting twenty minutes each, forty mini-judokas were present. On Saturday, at the beginning of the afternoon, place for pre-chicks, born in 2015 and 2016, with skill performances related to judo, to be performed in front of black and brown belts, ie fifty-six participants in this meeting.

At the end of the afternoon, thirty-five teenagers and adults took part in a leisure activity. Sunday morning, the chicks, born in 2013 and 2014, took part in a pre-competitive tournament with technical demonstrations, the quality of which was assessed and oppositions arbitrated with the partners. Fifty little tigers, from eight Lozère clubs, took part. The afternoon was dedicated to the second day of the Lozère Cup, for the youngest, born in 2011 and 2012 and the minimal, born in 2009 and 2010. Some youngest have made their last fights in Lozère before honoring their selection on the tri-departmental regional event which will take place on April 2, in Vauvert (Gard).

All these young people were supervised by members of the departmental committee, helped by about fifteen teenagers from various associations. This great weekend could not have been held without the local team, the help of the parents present and the municipality which made available the municipal gymnasium and a logistical support vehicle and the municipal employees.
