Sanchez, thunderclap in sight at OM?

At the end of the contract next June, Alexis Sanchez is not certain to extend his Marseille adventure.

“I’ve been saying it since I’ve been here, we always have to be focused until the game is over. We have to be 200% for the supporters, we have a great audience. I could stay or go, I’m not here to sunbathe. What I want is to win matches”. In early March, at a press conference, Alexis Sanchez cast doubt on his future at OM.

Landed last summer on the Canebière, the Chilean striker signed for a season (plus an optional year) with the Marseille club. Therefore, the former Barça could be free on July 1. One thing is certain: Sanchez will not discuss with his management a possible extension by the end of the 2022-2023 financial year, to gore the information disclosed this Tuesday by Provence.

Sanchez no shortage of requests

If he would not be opposed to the idea of continuing his Marseille adventure, “El Nino Maravilla” would also have been approached by several formations, whose names have not filtered. It must be said that the good performances of the 34-year-old striker did not go unnoticed. For their part, the Marseille leaders would intend to have their player re-enlisted and would count on qualifying for the next Champions League campaign to convince him to stay.
