Saint Jean. Judo: Marius Jacolin on the regional podium

On Saturday March 11, the regional finals in the “cadet” category took place in Mèze (34). After winning the tri-departmental championships on February 18 at the Maison du Judo in Toulouse, Marius Jacolin, licensed at the Pechbonnieu club, won the bronze medal in this competition which brought together the best judokas in the Occitanie region. This place qualifies him for the French first division championships which will be held on April 1 in Paris.

This podium brings this boy, diligent and serious in training, a little closer to the black belt. So after having validated his katas, he only has a few points left to win during his future fights to obtain the ultimate Grail of judoka.

Another representative of the club shone during this competition, Alan Ballin officiating as a referee for the first time at this level.

The next day, to complete this beautiful weekend, a club delegation made up of minions, youngest, chicks and mini chicks, won fourth place at the interclubs of Saint-Geniès-Bellevue.

The club will meet its supporters on March 18 at the Maison du Judo in Toulouse, for the departmental final in the “youngest” category, where seven boys and girls have brilliantly qualified. The team will be composed of: Victor Aliquot, Livio Costamagne, Hamza Ould Larabi, Paul Patigny, Hugo Defreitas, Laura Mallofre and Louane Tobalina Mathias.
