Round I Completed, Tottenham Outperformed Forest 2-0

Tottenham Hotspur while leading 2-0 over Nottingham Forest. All the goals in the first half went to Harry Kane.

Tottenham immediately kicked off and scored Forest’s goal when the game had been running for five minutes. Receiving Oliver Skipp’s breakthrough bait, Richarlison entered the penalty box.

With one right foot kick, the ball headed into Keylor Navas’ goal. VAR then annulled it because Richarlison was caught offside.

After that, Tottenham struggled to create clean opportunities in the Forest penalty box. Several attempts have not met with results.

Only then did the deadlock break in the 19th minute when Pedro Porro got a wild ball in the penalty box and sent a cross to the far post. Kane headed the ball into the goal without Navas being able to reach it.

Tottenham increasingly eager to add goals and got the result in the 36th minute. Richarlison fell after being violated by Joe Worrall in the forbidden box.

Kane, who became the executor, successfully netted the ball into the top corner in the middle of Navas’ goal. This was Kane’s 20th league goal of the season.
