The FC Barcelona player Ronald Araujo will be out for the next games due to a muscle injury in his left thigh suffered during the LaLiga Santander Clásico this past Sunday, March 19 at the Spotify Camp Nou.
“The tests carried out this morning have shown that the first team player Ronald Araujo suffers an injury to the left thigh adductor. It is low and his evolution will determine his availability,” the Blaugrana club announced.
Araujo played the entire game, with the misfortune of making it 0-1 after a cross from Vinicius, although he did well in defense against the Brazilian for the rest of the game and dared to go up on attack, this time being a winger.
In the absence of knowing the exact degree of the injury and the estimated time of loss, the Uruguayan international central defender – who already missed the World Cup due to a previous injury – could miss the next and last Clásico, the second leg of the semifinals of the Copa del Rey on April 5, also at the Camp Nou.
