Registration for the Evita 2023 Games in Madryn began

The Undersecretary of Sports of the Municipality of Puerto Madryn announces that registrations for the local stage of the Evita National Games have begun. They will be received through www.madryn.gob.ar/deportes/ until April 8 for older adults and until April 28 for youth, adapted and urban sports. It should be noted that the competitions will be held between April and May.

The Evita National Games are the main sports competition in Argentina and represent an opportunity for thousands of people from all over the country to participate in a nationally organized sports competition that promotes values ​​and builds habits with a clear sense of community.

Organized by the Secretary of Sports of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Nation, they have a program that brings together 63 disciplines and a competition system made up of two stages: a qualifying process in each province in which around 1 million children participate , girls, young people and older people from every corner of the country and a final phase, divided into five major events, attended by 25 thousand competitors.

OLD PEOPLE

Registration is open until April 8 and the competitions will be held between April 10 and 14.

The modality is inclusive, participatory and recreational. Through it, it seeks to trace a path towards equal opportunities in competition, promoting the population’s access to the practice of sport and physical activity. The Games are aimed at people born before December 31, 1962.

The disciplines are chess, newcom (adapted volleyball), toad, shuffleboard, table tennis, paddle tennis, orienteering and trick.

JUVENILES

Registration is open until April 28 and the competitions will be held between May 2 and 5.

This modality constitutes a program to strengthen training sports and physical education in Argentina, but also a platform for the education of values.
Teamwork, personal effort, respect for others, solidarity, the ability to excel and fair play are promoted in these Games, so that each participant can transfer them to their daily lives.

In this case, the disciplines are aquathlon, chess, athletics, badminton, 3×3 basketball, 5×5 basketball, boxing, canoeing, basket ball, cycling, mountain biking, climbing, fencing, 11-a-side football, 7-a-side football, futsal, artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics , trampoline gymnastics, handball, beach handball, hockey, judo, karate, olympic lifting, greco-roman wrestling, wrestling, swimming, artistic swimming, optimist, figure skate, race skate, paddle ball, rugby, skate, taekwondo, tennis, tennis table tennis, shooting, archery, volleyball, beach volleyball, windsurfing.

ADAPTED

Registration is open until April 28 and the competitions will be held between May 2 and 5.

This adapted modality seeks to trace a path towards equal opportunities in competition, promoting the population’s access to the practice of grassroots sports and physical activity.

The disciplines covered are athletics, badminton, 3×3 basketball, swimming, tennis, taekwondo, powerlifting, table tennis, soccer 3, boccia, goalball and sitting volleyball.

URBAN SPORTS

Registration is open until April 28 and the competitions will be held between May 2 and 5.

These are sports activities developed in the streets and in the surroundings of the cities, taking advantage of the urban elements and furniture for their development.
The Evita Urbanos National Games will be a great opportunity to promote the development of these sports with a federal perspective.

The disciplines that are developed in this category are chess, 3×3 basketball, BMX freestyle, breaking, climbing, freestyle, parkour, skateboarding.
