Despite increasingly disabling physical glitches, Rafael Nadal is not giving up and will return to competition on the occasion of the first big meeting of the season on clay, in Monte-Carlo. The Monegasque Masters 1000 formalized its participation on Thursday.
With Roland Garros (May 28-June 11) in sight, Rafael Nadal will first try to win a twelfth coronation on the Rock. He already holds the record for victory in the tournament but has not won it since 2018. Last year, he had to forfeit after a rib injury. The Spaniard has not yet communicated, personally, on his participation.
