Paul Pierce dares to make a very big statement, Evan Fournier takes a direct stand!

Always kept away from the rotation of the Knicks by Tom Thibodeau, Evan Fournier therefore tries to remain professional, while being as discreet as possible. His last tweet with a daring bias, however, is likely to make a lot of talk in the NBA!

A model teammate, he must above all be delighted to see his team appear in the Top 5 of the Eastern Conference at present. And yet, Evan Fournier would have something to curse about his personal situation at the Knicks. Considered a part of the workforce last year, the Frenchman has become an undesirable element in the space of a few months. Enough to justify his starving playing time in recent weeks.

Evan Fournier supports Paul Pierce’s cheeky request

No longer seen in uniform since February 13, Fournier nevertheless refuses to complain publicly about his management. His rare appearances on the networks thus see him discussing related subjects, and from time to time taking a position in the debates which divide the NBA community. The latest comes from Paul Pierce, who launched a big complaint about an increasingly popular move in the league:

If Dirk is credited with the one leg shot, I deserve the stepback and the side step

A lethal weapon these days, the stepback holds a non-negligible place in the arsenal of many stars. However, while some attribute its current popularity to James Harden, other players try to take all the credit. It is in particular the case of a former Barbu teammate, as well as Paul Pierce. Convinced of having democratized its use, the latter can count on Evan’s approval:

Paul Pierce: So like that, the move of the century is the step back jumper. Who do you think popularized it? Moiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, if you don’t agree you’re lying

Evan Fournier : The real truth.

If he therefore sees no lie in Pierce’s assertion, Vavane will now have to face the many contrary opinions of Internet users!

If he does not really have the opportunity to use it these days with the Knicks, Evan Fournier readily attributes the democratization of step back to Paul Pierce. An opinion that will please the former Celtics star, but who will undoubtedly find it difficult to reach a consensus!
