Veteran New England Patriots inside linebacker Dont’a Hightower announced his retirement on Tuesday.
Hightower spent his entire career with the Patriots, winning three Super Bowl games.
Hightower was drafted 25th overall in 2012, after winning two championships with the University of Alabama.
In 117 games between 2012 and 2021 — he didn’t play in 2020, though — Hightower had 569 tackles and 27 quarterback sacks.
