With a clear 87:71 away win, the Sartorius Juniors of BG Göttingen ended the relegation round of the junior basketball league (NBBL). Head coach Venelin Berov praised the team’s performance in the past season in the highest tones.
Göttingen. The Sartorius Juniors are the first to close the relegation round north of the youth basketball Bundesliga (NBBL/U19) and go on the summer break. The team of Juniors head coach Venelin Berov also won their last game of the season and finally defeated the Metropol Baskets Ruhr 87:71 (45:36). “We deserved to win, even if it wasn’t a really nice game,” said Berov. “For both teams, it was about nothing.”
