NBA, towards the minimum number of games played for the first individual

In recent years, workload management (also called load management) has become increasingly popular in the NBA. Today decisions about the employment of players are made on the basis of an infinite number of data made available by technology. To try to stem the phenomenon of load management, commissioner Adam Silver would like to tie individual prizes to a minimum number of games played. All parties agreed with this proposal, both owners and players though no agreement has been reached on the number actual of matches.

For their part i players complain which very often the decision final is not theirs but it comes taken directly from the franchise and by the medical staff. However, both sides agreed on the fact that the many injuries of recent times have contributed to the increase in load management and workload management.

On the other i monetary rewards linked to attendance, with top-down load management, would unfairly penalize the players.

The parties will have until March 31 to formalize the new collective bargaining agreement which could also introduce this novelty. After the previous two previous postponements, the parties would have committed to respect this deadline and finalize the agreement by the end of the month. Therefore, it is almost time to find out what the future of the proposal of the Silver commission on load management will be.
