Darío Míguez and Iziar Barcala, from CB A Estrada, shone at a great height in the Tordesillas Master last weekend. Míguez took gold in doubles, while in singles he managed to win silver after losing the final against his teammate Hugo Sanz. In addition, Barcala entered the final of the Under 19 category where she won gold after beating Elena Dueñas from Burgos.
On the other hand, Manu Míguez, also from Estrada, won the bronze medal in the Absolute Gallego of Ourense. Míguez was third in the men’s doubles with Hugo Salgueiro from Ravachol Pontevedra. In the semifinals they lost to the quality of the duo formed by Rodrigo Sanjurjo and Javier Álava.
