Max Neuchrist is already in the semifinals in Mexico City

Bengaluru, Pune and Trimbach – these were the last three stations in the professional tennis circuit where Maximilian Neuchrist tried his luck. With different successes: While there was only one match victory in the two ATP Challenger tournaments in India, Neuchrist made it to the semifinals at the ITF 25 tournament in Switzerland.

That’s exactly where the 31-year-old is now in Mexico City. With a very strong challenger, whose seed list was led by the Swiss Marc-Andrea Huesler. However, he failed in round two. Max Neuchrist, on the other hand, has now won four tiebreaks in a row: first against the Brazilian Felipe Meligeni Alves, then against Antoine Bellier, like Huesler a Swiss. The result: Neuchrist can compete against Dominik Koepfer from Germany in the semifinals.

But the good work is already bearing fruit: By making it into the semi-finals, Neuchrist is in 202nd place in the live ranking. And therefore on course to be able to participate in the qualification for Roland Garros.
