The 2023 World Baseball Classic is getting underway, arrived at the second full day of competitions. After the first two inaugural meetings today, Thursday 9 March, there will in fact be four meetings, two spread out in the very early morning and another two in the Italian late morning.
The spotlight, of course, they will all be focused on Italy’s debut which, at 12:00, will challenge the fierce team of Cuba in Taichung (Taipei), fresh from the surprising defeat against the Netherlands in the first outing. The other dispute in the Azzurri’s grouping will instead be between Panama (victorious yesterday against Taipei) and precisely Holland, on stage at 5:00.
They complete the program instead the two matches belonging to group B. We are talking about Australia-South Korea, on the field at the Tokyo Dome of the Japanese capital at 4:00 and China-Japan, which starts at 11:00.
