Mangué’s talent guides Rocasa to excellence

Fifteen minutes was enough Rocasa Gran Canaria to bring home another away victory against Atlético Guardés (25-32). The people from Telde arrived at the break with an income of eleven goals in favor. In the second half, Juan Moreno’s men managed their income to confirm the victory to follow in the wake of Costa Sol Málaga, second in the standings before facing the leader of the Iberdrola Challenge League this Saturday at Antonio Moreno, the Super Amara Bera Bera.

Although the initial 0-2 allowed Rocasa to establish a small income in their favor that would allow them to navigate the game with some solvency, equality was the tonic of the initial bars. The defenses prevailed over the attacks and the marker advanced slowly, although in a distributed way. It was a volcanic duel.

Starting at 5-7, barely past the middle of the first half, the game went crazy. Rocasa Gran Canaria brought another march to the game and tipped the balance in their favor to leave the clash practically resolved before the break, in a stretch of the game of practical and effective handball on the Gran Canaria side.

The Gran Canaria and Alba Spugnini, with five goals each, were the best of the island

The women from Telde, with intense work in defense and a superb performance by Ana Palomino, only allowed the Galician team three more goals until the break. Rocasa Gran Canaria, on the other hand, did their best in attack to increase the income and leave the team at half-time with an eleven-goal lead that sealed the match.

The second half had little story. Rocasa Gran Canaria limited itself to managing its rent and dosing it in the second thirty minutes. In fact, Atlético Guardés never lost face in the match and tried to reduce the rent in every possible way. Although they succeeded at times, Juan Moreno’s men knew how to stifle any comeback attempt by the Galicians.

In the end, an away victory with a seven-goal advantage that allowed Rocasa Gran Canaria to obtain their second consecutive away win, extend their good form in this final stretch of the season and face the epilogue of the regular competition with the morale through the roof On Saturday, at home, the women from Telde await the leader in a high-voltage contest.
