Luka Doncic will not be against San Antonio either

The final stretch of the season is being a real headache for the Dallas Mavericks. The Texas organization has fallen to positions of play-in while seeing how their two biggest stars, Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, must deal with physical problems.

Irving worries less. The point guard did not play the last game due to pain in his right foot, but for tonight’s game it is expected that he will be on the floor. The Mavs have listed him as doubtful for now.

Regarding the Slovenian genius, his left thigh strain requires more calm. He was unable to play the last two games against the Memphis Grizzlies and Dallas has already confirmed that he will also be absent in the game they play in less than 24 hours against the San Antonio Spurs.

The Mavericks do not want to fall into precipitation despite the tightening of the classification. After living for a long time in the top six of the Western Conference, they have now slipped to ninth to fall within two games of the sixth, Los Angeles Clippers.

The truth is that in Dallas a certain discouragement and ‘conformism’ is beginning to spread. Jason Kidd has pointed out in the last hours that “it is only about one season”, thus downplaying the fact that the team did not finally play the playoffs. It remains to be seen that Mark Cuban, its owner, has the same or a similar thought.
