List of 5 Indonesian representatives to be featured at the All England 2023

Of the 15 representatives sent by Indonesia to All England 2023five of which have superior status from different sectors.

Indonesia’s best representatives are ready to appear in prestigious championships on stage badminton world. Some of them carry the status as superior.

Jonatan Christie and Anthony Sinisuka Ginting who are the mainstays of Merah Putih in the men’s singles sector are the second and third seeds.

Jonathan and Anthony are also the second and third place in the BWF ranking list as of March 7, 2023.

Despite being superior, the two Cipayung national team players cannot underestimate the opponents they will face in the first round. Jonathan will meet Weng Hongyang in the opening match, while Anthony will face Kantaphon Wangcharoen.

Indonesia also has two representatives who are included in the seeded list in the men’s doubles sector, namely Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto as the first seeds and Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan who are the third seeds.

Fajar/Rian’s first proof as the first seed will be played in the match against Kang Min Hyuk/Seo Seung Jae. Meanwhile, Ahsan/Hendra will meet juniors at PBSI national training, namely Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan.

In addition, Indonesia also fielded last year’s All England men’s doubles champion who was not included in the seed list, namely Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri.

Another seed from Indonesia at the All England is Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti who will compete in the women’s singles sector.

Apriyani/Fadia, who are seeded eighth, will face Thai brothers Benyapa Aimsaard/Nuntakarn Aimsaard in the first round.
