As in the previous year, state champion Simon Wagner won the Rebenland Rally, which is part of the Austrian championship. With Gerald Winter he prevailed in the Leutschach area ahead of Hermann Neubauer/Ursula Mayrhofer and the Hungarians Kristof Klausz/Tamas Papp, fourth were Günther Knobloch/Jürgen Rausch. Everyone was driving a Skoda Fabia.
In the championship, Wagner leads with 51 points ahead of Neubauer with 38. “It was also our first victory with the new Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 in Austria. The fact that it still became clear in the end is also the result of the very good tests that we completed,” said Wagner.
