The first diagnosis is not definitive and the goalkeeper will have new tests this week.

It was heartbreaking for the Atlético Nacional fan to see their goalkeeper, Kevin Mier, leave the classic against Medellín in tears due to an injury that would have affected his left extremity without a clear explanation.

In an attack play by the DIM, Mier stepped badly and did not get up again. He cried and had to be removed on a stretcher, while he was taken directly to the locker room to be treated by the Nacional doctor.

From that moment there was a lot of anguish for the future of the young purslane goalkeeper, since the injury looked serious, due to the signs of pain of the goalkeeper born in Barrancabermeja, Santander.

This Sunday the first report from the medical department on Kevin Mier was delivered, but the final diagnosis of his injury will remain awaited, as he will undergo new studies in the coming days.

The first conclusion speaks of the fact that Mier suffered an ankle sprain in his left leg. Torsional mechanism when the guayo remains buried in the grass and rotates on its own axis. The first studies would have ruled out a fracture, although the new evaluations will serve to clear up doubts about possible fissures, and to define his disability.
