Ingram makes life difficult for the Lakers

The Western Conference fight is non-stop. Everyone advances or loses positions each day, depending on what their own or other teams do. It’s the thing that it’s all so terribly tight and there’s nobody brilliant around.. The level has dropped and that gives, at least, an extra dose of emotion to the fight for the play in, that kind of pre-playoffs from seventh to tenth since the NBA was invented in the bubble and which, of course, is here to stay. One way or another, These things usually work out for the best League in the world and the incredible battle we are experiencing is proof of this.. Beyond the talent, the tachycardia is guaranteed, and that in any competition, and it happens a lot to the North American, it gives her enormous appeal.

Pelicans, Wolves, Lakers, Thunder and Mavericks it seems that the positions from seventh to tenth will be played, which they occupy in that order, leaving the Texans (it seems incredible) outside at this time. The Warriors are with a victory advantage and give a very great reliability from experience, but with 5 games ahead until April 9 they cannot relax too much and will seek to secure that sixth place that avoids the previous one and gives direct access to the playoffs. With the addition that while there are four teams playing one or two games of play in, you are resting physically and mentally and not making a brutal effort to access the final phasewith more wear and tear than your rivals and against a rival who has come from getting ready in a different way and at the same time more advantageous than yours.

The Pelicans have taken a step forward in the fight for the play-in and are currently seventh. A victory, as we have said, for the Warriors. They have conquered Denver, Colorado, beating the Nuggets, leaders of the Western Conference, in a meeting in which the pressing need to add some and the desire to find each other has been demonstratedalways scoring with their best moment but leaders of the West in a virtual way (they have 3 games ahead of the Grizzlies with only 5 for the conclusion of the regular season). The Pelicans won without great trouble (88-107), dominated, prevailed in each and every one of the quarters and moved the Wolves to eighth place and the Lakers to ninth, staying with a record of 39-38, the same as the Minnesota franchise and with a half victory difference over the Angelenos.

Brandon Ingram was the hero of the clash with 31 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. He was accompanied by Trey Murphy (15), Jonas Valanciunas (15 + 12) and CJ McCollum (23, with 6 of 8 in triples), while Willy Hernangómez did not play again. In the Nuggets, orphans of Nikola Jokic (rested), the triple was absolute torture: 4 of 28 in total, 0 of 18 if we take away the 4 of 10 of a Jamal Murray who went to 21 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists as the best on his team. In the end, the Nuggets are already thinking about something else (they had come off four consecutive victories after a period of slight doubts) and for the Pelicans every game is a final. That is what awaits us in the next 10 days: a fierce fight to sneak into the play in, for having an opportunity, always difficult, to reach the playoffs. And emotion. very much: that’s for sure.
