Indonesia Vs Uzbekistan: Hoping for Daffa Fasya’s Might

Indonesia vs Uzbekistan is a decisive match for Garuda Muda in the U-20 Asian Cup. Daffa Fasya’s might is expected to be able to maintain the purity of his goal.

Group A of the U-20 Asian Cup will be presented matchday the third on Tuesday (7/3) at 21.00 WIB. There are Uzbekistan vs Indonesia and Iraq vs Syria matches.

In the current U-20 Asian Cup Group A standings, Uzbekistan leads with six points from two wins. Iraq is in second place with three points attached to the U-20 Indonesian National Team with the same points only losing on goal difference. Syria is in the distended position with 0 points.

In this last match, three teams competed for a ticket to the quarterfinals of the U-20 Asian Cup. The scheme is that the U-20 national team can qualify if they win over Uzbekistan.

The U-20 national team actually depends on the outcome of the Iraq vs Syria match. If Syria can tackle Iraq, then at least a draw with Uzbekistan will be enough for Garuda Muda to qualify for the quarterfinals.

Daffa Fasya, the goalkeeper for the U-20 National Team has so far performed quite well. He conceded two goals against Iraq and kept clean sheets against Syria.

A total of 11 shots aimed at him, Daffa (that was) only conceded twice. In the match against Syria, he made two important saves.

At the end of the first half, the Borneo FC goalkeeper was able to ward off Elias Safar’s shot neatly. At the end of the match, Daffa made an extraordinary save. He secured three points for Indonesia after being able to ward off a Syrian player’s header.

Daffa Fasya was born in Sumedang, May 7 2004. Daffa started his career at the Putra Kujang football team, Sumedang. Daffa trained there while still living in Rancakalong, Sumedang. In that team too, he was coached by Abanda Herman.
