(ANSA) – INDIAN WELLS (USA), MARCH 20 – The 19-year-old Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz won the Indian Wells Masters 1000 for the first time, the eighth ATP title of his career, beating the 27-year-old Russian Daniil Medvedev 6-3 6-2 .
Taking advantage of Novak Djokovic’s absence from the Californian tournament, Alcaraz overtakes the Serbian and returns to number 1 in tennis in the world.
