Guillermo “Mito” Pereira: I think I will never return to the PGA Tour

The Chilean Guillermo Pereira assured that he sees the possibility of returning to the PGA Tour as difficult after having moved a few weeks ago to the LIV Golf circuitwhere his friend and compatriot Joaquín Niemann was already.

“Myth” said in Golf week: “I feel good about this decision. The PGA is a great tour. I fulfilled my dream of playing it. I think we will never go back. Maybe it will happen, but that’s the thought I have.”

“I have not stopped to think if I would have stayed in the PGA if I had won (a tournament). With Joaquín leaving, I would still be here“added the national golfer.

In any case, Pereira will be able to dispute the Augustan Masterswhich will take place in April: “I still have that dream in the majors“.

The native is playing the tournament in Tucson, Arizona, ranking 31st with 71 shots, while Niemann is fifth with 67, after the first day.
