On April 18, 2022, Cristiano Ronaldo announced the tragic death at birth of one of his twins. “It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our little boy. This is the greatest pain a parent can feel. Only the birth of our baby gives us the strength to live this moment with a little hope and happiness. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all the care and support provided. We are devastated and ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our boy you are our angel. We will love you forever.” Their daughter, Bella Esmeralda, was able to happily pull through and bring happiness to a deeply affected family.

Almost a year later, Georgina Rodriguez, the companion of CR7, came out of silence on the subject. The 29-year-old, heroine of her own documentary series on Netflix, opened up in tears in an interview. His words are relayed by The Sun. “Life is hard, life goes on. I have reasons to continue and to be strong. Cris overwhelmingly encouraged me to pursue all of my commitments. He said, “Go on with your life, it’ll do you good.” Right now, my priority is my family and my children. I am really happy and very grateful (…) Cristiano is so attentive to me, he is really good. It’s the love of my life.” The Portuguese star will appreciate this moving message.
