NBA – Passed by Strasbourg, the 29-year-old shooting guard signed a “two-way contract” with the Pacers.
Like last season, the Pacers waited until the very end of the season to offer him a “two-way contract” which should allow him to grab a few minutes with the first team, with which he trained for the first times Thursday. It digitally replaces Trevelin Queen.
“Gabe is a pure scorer. That’s what he does best, putting the ball in the basket. He does it better than a lot of people in the NBA.”
said his teammate Jalen Smith.
While Chris Duarte and Buddy Hield will gradually find their place in the rotation, Gabe York, who could be used tonight against OKC, knows he will not have the right to make mistakes.
“I’m just going to go out there and do what I know how to do. My teammates will find me in transition, the ball will eventually find me. I just have to put my shots”did he declare. “I’m happy to be here, I’m happy to take this opportunity and go all out.”
