“Further development year after year”: Höler extends in Freiburg | table football

Lucas Höler came from SV Sandhausen in 2018 and has long established himself as a top performer at SC Freiburg. Since then, the 28-year-old has played 174 competitive games in the Freiburg jersey. He scored 27 goals and prepared another 19 goals.

Since the beginning of the year, together with Vincenzo Grifo, he has been the most accurate player in coach Christian Streich’s team with three Bundesliga goals each.

“Lucas has been with us for more than five years and has made great progress,” says SC board member Jochen Saier. “Due to his exemplary attitude, his presence and his work on the pitch in both directions, Lucas is an important and reliable part of our team. We are very happy that he is still on board.”

As usual, the club did not communicate how many years Höler extended his contract with SC. The last time Höler put his signature under a contract in Freiburg was in January 2020.
