With the warm spring weather in March, the Daegu Sports Association for the Disabled launched a guide on using the Daegu National Sports Center for the Disabled.

The Daegu National Sports Center for the Disabled, completed in May 2019, is located in Daeheung-dong, Suseong-gu (near Daegu Stadium) and is operated by the Daegu Sports Association for the Disabled.

The National Sports Center for the Disabled, the first sports facility exclusively for the disabled in the region, has a total floor area of ​​3,991㎡ (1,330 pyeong) and has one basement level and four floors above ground. and billiard room, multi-purpose gymnasium (large) on the 3rd floor, and Daegu City Hall table tennis business team training center on the 4th floor. Right in front of the Sports Center, there is a parking space for the disabled and a priority parking area for the disabled, making it even easier to access.

Facility usage hours are from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekdays and weekends, and usage hours vary by program. The second and fourth Sundays of every month are closed days. People with disabilities can use all sports facilities free of charge just by registering as a member.

The non-disabled class program, which runs from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm on weekdays, is currently operated as a badminton class (4 disabled people, 16 non-disabled people), a table tennis class (4 disabled people, 16 non-disabled people), and a yoga class (16 non-disabled people). and applications are accepted on a quarterly basis. Priority is given to those with disabilities, and applications are made online and in person.
