Fluminense faces Botafogo for the Copa Rio Feminina — Fluminense Football Club

Fluminense’s main women’s team will have a new challenge for Copa Rio. In a game valid for the first round of the return match, Guerreiras do Fluzão will face Botafogo, this Saturday (18/03), at 3 pm, at Caio Martins.

Despite the adverse results against Flamengo and Botafogo in the previous rounds, coach Hoffman Túlio highlighted the good performance of the team.

“The expectation is to play well again. We did well in the first match, we built good scoring opportunities, either with the penalty or balls on the crossbar. We are in a phase of work in which we seek to understand the game and play well. Of course, we always enter to win, our shirt says that”, said the commander.

Hoffmann also reinforced the importance of the competition in the team’s season schedule, whose main objective is to gain access to the A1 Series. With the renewed cast, he has been observing the possibilities already targeting the debut in the Brazilian Female A2.

“We are providing opportunities for athletes. From the first to the second game we made five changes and for tomorrow we will have new changes. I have put some girls from the base to start the games, like Sarah against Flamengo, or entering the game during the course, like Helô and Tefa. We’re riding a lot, that’s the purpose of Copa Rio”, added the coach.
