Youth basketball to start the month of April. In the first days of the already imminent month, the first edition of the “Ciudad de Guadalajara” tournament will be held, which will host competitions in the juvenile, infant, cadet (male and female) and junior categories.
Thus, between Saturday (day 1) and Tuesday (April 4) a total of 30 teams will go to Guadalajara, with almost 400 players and coaches. A total of 30 matches will be played at the Palacio Multiusos and the Polideportivo San José. The tournament is organized by Guadalajara Basket and will include the participation of eleven clubs, such as Estudiantes, Real Canoe, Las Rozas, Coslada, Liceo Francés and the host team itself. On this first occasion, teams close to Guadalajara have been sought but, according to the organization, in future editions, an attempt will be made to attract clubs from the entire national basket sport scene to the tournament. The future of basketball goes through initiatives like this.
