Fiorentina Feel Big Profit Selling Vlahovic to Juventus

Firenze

Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso thinks his team made a big profit selling Dusan Vlahovic to Juventus. La Viola has also discovered Arthur Cabral and Luka Jovic.

Vlahovic was once a idol at Fiorentina. He had become La Viola’s goal machine in the 2018-2022 range.

The Serbian striker was able to score 49 goals in 108 appearances for Fiorentina. Vlahovic then decided to move to Juventus in January 2022.

Fiorentina are willing to sell Vlahovic after Juventus made an offer of 70 million euros. The decision of the President of Fiorentina, Rocco Commisso, to release Vlahovic to Juventus was criticized by fans of the club from Florence at that time. This is because of the hot rivalry of the two teams.

Commisso, who was once criticized for his move to sell Vlahovic, is now boasting that his decision was a resounding success. The reason is, the two attackers who were brought in by Fiorentina after Vlahovic left Arthur Cabral and Luka Jovic have appeared sharp this season.

Cabral arrived from Basel in January 2022 for 15 million euros. Meanwhile, Jovic was recruited for free to the Artemio Franchi from Real Madrid in the summer of 2022.

Cabral and Jovic have scored 10 goals this season the same number Vlahovic has scored with the Bianconeri. Commisso feels that Fiorentina profited greatly from Vlahovic’s transfer.

“He has exactly half (the number of goals) of our two strikers. And in the midst of all this, we get 70 million euros,” said Commisso as quoted by Football Italia.

“The Cabral-Jovic deal is very good for us, unlike the Juventus deal for Vlahovic,” he explained.
