Emil Hansson is having an excellent season. The Swedish striker of Heracles Almelo, who was under contract with Feyenoord between 2016 and 2019, has already scored fifteen times in the Kitchen Champion Division and also provided sixteen assists.
According to the Swedish Sportbladet a number of European (top) clubs have shown their interest in Hansson. For example, Eintracht Frankfurt, 1. FC Köln, Olympique Lyon, Udinese and Feyenoord are mentioned. A return to Feyenoord is therefore one of the possibilities. An earlier employment was not yet a success, but the Swede is now flourishing in the shirt of Heracles.
“I have also read that Feyenoord would be interested in Hansson,” says Nico-Jan Hoogma in conversation with the Tubantia. That’s all it is, adds the technical director of Heracles. According to Hoogma, only one thing counts for Heracles and that is promotion to the premier league this season. “Then we will see which players stay and which may leave. At the moment it is not an issue at all,” said Hoogma.
Hansson himself also does not want to respond to the interest of the Rotterdammers. “I will respond when it becomes concrete. At the moment I want to concentrate on my own performance and that of Heracles.”
