At the Shiga Lakes game (Nagoya City Biwajima Sports Center) on April 8 (Sat) and 9 (Sun), 2023, we will hold a “Professional Basketball Photo Session with Sports Photographer Yusuke Nakanishi”.
At this event, which was realized with the cooperation of Canon Marketing Japan, you can receive lectures and advice from Mr. Yusuke Nakanishi, who is also the official photographer of the FE Nagoya club. Enjoy.

*For the event held as a[Canon Photo Circle Special Project]we will prepare a quota for the number of members of the 2022-23 season Fighting Eagles Nagoya fan club “FEclub” to participate.

2. Shooting a professional basketball game (Fighting Eagles Nagoya vs Shiga Lakes)

Course conditions/required skills
・Single-lens reflex or mirrorless cameras and lenses will be used.
・On the day of the event, we will lend you the latest Canon equipment.
You can also use it with your existing camera (including those made by other companies).。
Rental machine (planned): Canon EOS R6 Mark II, RF70-200mm F2.8 L IS USM
* Only SD cards can be used with the Canon EOS R6 Mark II.

Mr. Yusuke Nakanishi
【profile】
Born in Tokyo in 1979. He graduated from Tokyo Polytechnic University, Faculty of Art, Department of Photography. He has been a freelance photographer since 2018 after working for Kodansha’s photography department and Afro Sports, a photo agency. He began working on sports documentaries when he started filming professional boxers when he was in college. He has filmed many sports scenes such as the Summer and Winter Olympics, Paralympics and World Championships for each sport. He also shoots commercials with athletes as models. He will be the official photographer of the Fighting Eagles Nagoya club from the 2022-2023 season.
His photo exhibition includes “Fist’s whereabouts (2012, Canon Gallery), etc. He is the author of “How to take good pictures? What professionals think about before equipment and techniques” (2016 Gijutsu Hyoronsha).
