Estrella Galicia 0.0 is the new official MotoGP beer

The Spanish brand joins the World Cup in a multi-year collaboration

Estrella Galicia 0.0 and Dorna Sports announced this Wednesday a multi-year agreement that makes the Spanish beer brand the official MotoGP beer from the 2023 World Cup, in the first season of an agreement that is intended to last for years.

“As the official beer, the Estrella Galicia 0,0 name will be ubiquitous in MotoG*, reaching hundreds of millions of fans around the world as the sport embarks on the successful first season of a new era,” announced Dorna and Galician Star.

Estrella Galicia 0,0, based in A Coruña (Galicia), already had a considerable presence in motorsport, including some collaborations in the MotoGP paddock. “This makes Estrella Galicia 0.0 the perfect choice for the Official MotoGP Beer,” Dorna said in a statement.

In fact, more than half of the 22 riders on the MotoGP grid have had the support of Estrella Galicia 0,0 at some point in their racing career.

The beer brand will enjoy a global presence thanks to MotoGP broadcasts, with on-track advertising on a large part of the calendar in the first year of this new partnership, which will be extended to a greater number of venues in subsequent seasons.

Part of the commercial benefits will be having a space dedicated to the brand in the ‘paddock’ to share the culture and DNA of the Spanish brewery. In addition, Estrella Galicia 0,0 will also be present at the MotoGP VIP Village, ensuring that the brand enjoys a key presence in the MotoGP corporate hospitality programme.

The CEO of Corporación Hijos de Rivera (Estrella Galicia 0.0), Ignacio Rivera, assured that motorcycling is one of the projects that the brand has had the most reasons for celebration. “We are delighted to be able to go one step further and become the official beer of the MotoGP World Championship on a global level, something that is undoubtedly a milestone for our company”, he revealed.
