The third round matches originally scheduled for this weekend are scheduled to be played next Wednesday and Thursday (March 15 and 16). The weather forecast will not allow fights to take place on holidays – heavy snowfall and strong wind are expected.
The start of the 2023 Latvian football Premier League season is also planned for Saturday. In the first match at 13.00, the champion “Valmiera” will host last year’s bronze medalist RFS.
A total of three matches are scheduled in the Premier League on Saturday, and two more will be played on Sunday.
The weather in Latvia has not introduced changes in the current Premier League calendar, but it is not ruled out.
The Premier League season starts already this weekend. All matches of the first round of the tournament will be broadcast live on TV4 and the Sportacentrs.com portal.
