Domantas Sabonis and De’Aaron Fox show the Knicks why they are the best attack in history

Is there still someone who doesn’t believe these Kings? For weeks (even months) it has been heard that Sacramento would end up falling or that it was there because other teams were not performing as expected. Games and games have passed and not only is it not happening, but they are one step away from snatching second position in the western conference a Memphis Grizzlies.

Against the New York Knicks (9-1 in the last ten games), Mike Brown’s team once again demonstrated why they are currently the best attack in the NBA (122-117). Domantas Sabonis and De’Aaron Fox, leading scorers for the team with best offensive rating in the history of the competition.

Leaders also in the ‘clutch time’

De’Aaron Fox, with 23 points (9/16 in TC), seven assists and four steals was key in the victory against the Knicks. His defendingare aggressiveness attacking the hoop and his temple in the moments in which the ball burns, key in the triumph of Sacramento. Of the twenty-three points, 15 were in the fourth quarter.

They are the best attack in the ‘clutch’, with a 129.4 offensive rating. Another key to the good performance of the Kings this season is Domantas Sabonis. Hoy, ante New York, the Lithuanian recorded a triple-double: 24 points (9/15 in TC), 13 rebounds and 10 assists.

Thibodeau’s men were -21 on the scoreboard, but a good third set (22-31) tightened the result at the end. The team from “The Big Apple” registered a mediocre percentage from the perimeter: 26% (13/50). RJ Barrett (25) and Julius Randle (23) were the top scorers for the visiting side, although neither exceeded 40% in TC.

Beyond this enormous setback that the Grizzlies must face, the reality is that in Sacramento everything is working under the baton of a Mike Brown who is on track to break a disastrous streak of 16 consecutive seasons without playoffs.
