An emotional moment on Friday evening in the Elindus Arena during the match between Zulte Waregem and Royal Antwerp FC. The late Jack (11) was honored with a “You’ll Never Walk Alone” in the eleventh minute by both clans of supporters.

Jack was a youth player of Royal Cappellen FC, who also regularly trained with the youth of Antwerp. The football player was seriously injured on Tuesday in a tragic accident at a primary school in Ekeren. Jack passed away two days later.
Antwerp Dynamite, an atmosphere group of RAFC, called for the song “You’ll Never Walk Alone” to be used in the eleventh minute, the age of Jack. Zulte Waregem asked on its social media to support the visiting fans and this was followed up loudly. From the main stand there was a minute of applause and the visitors had unrolled a banner with ‘Superjack’. A nice tribute.
A minute’s silence will be held prior to all youth matches in Antwerp this weekend.
