Darko Balaban lands at Club Melilla Baloncesto to help in training

Due to his friendship with Gonzalo García de Vitoria, he has lent himself to this situation in order to stay in good physical shape. The Serbian has not played for a while due to the break in the Tunisian league and is waiting for the transfer from Etoile Sportive Rades to be able to play with another club.

Darko Balaban, September 29, 1989, Serbia. He started in the world of basketball playing in Serbia, in 2007 he joined Partizan Belgrade, where he spent three seasons. After passing through Crvena Zvezda in 2010-11, Balaban ended up at KK Smederevo, where he had a great campaign, which helped him to play in other European competitions such as Romania, playing for Targu-Mures and also in the Macedonian league, enrolled in the ranks of Feni Indistrija Kavadarci. In the summer of 2014, he joined Naturtex SZTE-Szedeak in the Hungarian first division, in which he averaged 21 points and 8.5 rebounds per game, which helped him sign for the Greek PAOK Salonica team. Although after a few games he left the Hellenic club to end the season wearing the Romanian Dinamo Bucaresti shirt. In the 2016 season, he joined the Africain Club of the Tunisian league.

During the 2017/18 season he returned to Serbia at the hands of Borac Čačak, after a year in his homeland he landed, in the 2018/19 season, at Club Melilla Baloncesto, of the Spanish LEB Oro. After a year in the autonomous city, he remained in the LEB Oro League enrolled in the ranks of Club Ourense basketball, being one of the most outstanding players in the competition.

After two years in Spain, in the 2020-21 season he signed with BC Balkan Botevgrad of the Bulgarian league. A year later he would play in two teams, in the first half of the season he would play for Cherkaski Mavpy, in Ukraine, and in the second half he landed for Kouchin Amol in the Iranian league. During the current season he was in the Etoile Sportive Rades of the Tunisia-ProA.

In this way, Darko Balaban arrives in Melilla to help during the dean’s training, since, at the moment, he does not have the transfer.
