Damien Harris signed with the Bills as their new running back

Los Buffalo Bills they replenished their offensive backfield by signing the free agent Damian Harris for a year.

Harris spent his first four seasons in the NFL with the New England Patriotsdivision rivals, and his signing comes a day after Buffalo lose the owner Devin Singletarywho reached an agreement with Houston.

Harris led the Patriots With 2,094 rushing yards and 20 rushing TDs since being drafted in the third round out of Alabama. He also had 40 catches for 281 yards.

His best season came in 2021, when Harris he finished with 929 rushing yards and scored 15 times, the second-most rushing touchdowns in a single season in team history. Three of his eight career 100-yard rushing games have come against Buffaloincluding a career-best three touchdown outing in a 33-21 loss on December 26, 2021.

At 5-foot-11 and 213 pounds, Harris is projected to compete with the second-year running back James Cook y Nyheim Hyneswho was acquired by Buffalo in a trade with Indianapolisto occupy the position of Singletary as main runner of the Bills.
