Dallas bogged down with second loss in two days against Hornets in NBA

Further proof that the Dallas Mavericks of the star duo Luka Doncic-Kyrie Irving are spinning a bad cotton, they conceded this Sunday, in Charlotte, a second defeat in two days (104-110) against the Hornets, an opponent who does not yet play more the race for the play-offs.

The day after a home defeat booed by their fans, the Mavericks still had a headache and started their match very badly (5-18 then 12-30). At the heart of the second quarter, after having suffered their biggest delay of the match (-19, 29-48), they nevertheless passed a 13-0 which revived them.

Relying on an always radiant Luka Doncic (40 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists) but an always pale Kyrie Irving (18 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists), Dallas even passed in the fourth quarter (92-90 then 98-97) but then conceded a 0-7 from which he did not recover.

After two defeats against the penultimate in the Eastern Conference, Dallas is more than ever in 11th place in the Western Conference, therefore out of the nails for the automatic play-offs (top 6) and even the play-in play-offs (7th to 10th).
