“Ferraroni Ju.Vi. Cremona Basket 1952 announces that it has relieved coach Alessandro Crotti of his duties. The club thanks a man of great professionalism and human depth for the work done in these seasons and who will always remain in the history of our Club as the “commander” of the team that won the historic promotion to Serie A2.
The team is temporarily entrusted to the assistant coach Gianluca De Gennaro assisted by the second assistant Elvis Vacchelli.
This was the press release issued yesterday by the club, which perhaps came as a surprise to some, but the team seemed to be in the throes of discouragement and disappointment over the latest defeats which led them to play the Poule Salvation to achieve the goal set at the start of the season. The environment needs a jolt to react and go back to fighting with stubbornness and determination.
