‘Club Brugge very charmed by trainer from Jupiler Pro League’

Scott Parker was fired from Club Brugge on Wednesday. It remains to be seen who will succeed him.

On Wednesday, Scott Parker was thanked for services rendered. Rik De Mil is appointed as coach for this weekend’s game.

Het Nieuwsblad writes that Club Brugge wants to appoint a new trainer by next week. Alexander Blessin was an option, but his system would take too long to fit in. In the end there are only twelve matches more.

Alfred Schreuder seems the easiest option to fit in, but there would be noise on the line over contract length. The newspaper also writes that Club Brugge is very charmed by Ronny Deila from Standard.

However, that does not seem to be an option at the moment. Negotiations to take someone away from their current employer would take far too long and time is not blue black’s friend at the moment.
