Buddy Hield (Indiana Pacers) fined $25,000 for obscenity

While on the bench for the Pacers at the start of the second quarter of the game lost in Charlotte on Monday (115-109), Buddy Hield made several middle fingers, according to images posted on social networks. The Indiana winger was fined $25,000 on Wednesday for the obscene gesture, the NBA announced.

The 30-year-old player, very comfortable at three points (40.2% career success rate), is playing his seventh season in the North American Championship this year. After a season with the New Orleans Pelicans in 2016-2017, Hield played five years with the Sacramento Kings. Since February 2022, he has been playing for the Pacers and has never been noticed outside the court until then.
