Brazil remains in the top 10 of the FIFA women’s football ranking

FIFA released last Friday (24), the updated ranking of women’s teams.

O Brazil remained in 9th place, even having lost 10.33 points. You USA lead followed by Germany e Sweden.

The last ranking update had been in December 2022. Since then, the team led by Pia Sundhage has played three games, all for the SheBelieves Tournament, in February. The team won the Japan 1-0, but lost to Canada by 2 to 0 and to the United States by 2 to 1. With that, it lost points, but remained among the 10 best in the world.

On the other hand, the North Koreawhich has not played an official game for four years, no longer appears in the entity’s ranking.

A Brazilian Team will play two preparatory friendlies for the World Cup, against England on the 6th of April and afterwards before the Germany on the 11th of the same month.

Brazil debuts on July 24, at 8 am (Brasília time), at the Sidney Football stadium, against Panama.
