Botafogo shareholder John Textor seeks new investors to raise capital for Eagle Football

John Textor is seeking new investors to raise capital for the Eagle Footballits multi-club group that today has Botafogo, Crystal Palace, Lyon e RWD Molenbeek. The information is from the “Bloomberg” portal, one of the largest specialists in business and finance.

According to the report, Textor is working with a consultant to seek new partners. The article recalls that the American businessman, to finance the acquisition of Lyon, had the help of Jean-Pierre Conte, from “Genstar Capital”.

Also according to “Bloomberg”, John Textor returned to talk to investors who considered participating in the deal with the French club, but ended up not entering into an agreement. The businessman bought Lyon in a debt package that he intends to pay off over time, adds the text.
