HEESCH – The Heesche Badminton Association is organizing the 9th edition of its HBV Open Youth Tournament on Sunday March 26. In a relatively short time, this tournament has grown into one of the busiest one-day youth tournaments in the region. But above all, it is a tournament where players like to come and have a nice day.

Nearly 100 youth players from eighteen different associations will travel to Heesch on Sunday March 26 to compete against each other for the daily prizes. This means that almost all the places that the Heesche association has occupied at its tournament have been filled, and we can look forward to an exciting tournament day in ‘t Vijfeiken.

Divided into three different age categories and three different games (singles, doubles and mixed doubles), the players will play hundreds of matches during the day. Every year, a large number of competitions produce fireworks and new badminton talents float to the surface during the day. A joy to watch for the audience in the stands.

In addition to the battle for the individual daily prizes, the various associations also compete for the title of ‘Best performing club’ and the corresponding Hebris.nl Wisseltrofee. This was won during the last edition by badminton club Veghel ’67.

The HBV Open Youth Tournament will be played from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in sports hall ‘t Vijfeiken. The public is very welcome. More information about the tournament can be found at www.hbv-heesch.nl.
